Thorium (Browser) is a fast and secure web browser based on the Chromium open-source project. The browser is named after the radioactive element thorium, known as No. 90 on the periodic table. It is compiled with modern CPU flags and optimizations to improve performance, security, and usability, and it supports extensions from the Chrome Web Store. Additionally, it offers features such as tab groups, dark mode, and a password manager. Thorium Browser is available for various operating systems including Linux, Windows, and MacOS.

Installing on Debian GNU/Linux

1.  wget https://dl.thorium.rocks/debian/dists/stable/thorium.list
2. sudo mv thorium.list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/
3. sudo apt update
4. sudo apt install thorium-browser
